The "CORFEX" patented system consists of only two components, the lateral supports and crossbars, which exist in various sizes and thicknesses depending on the weight of the goods to be stacked. All system components comply with ISPM-15 standards and are marked accordingly.
The lateral supports are first placed inside the lateral grooves of the container walls and then the crossbars are installed to provide support for the upper pallets.
Lateral supports come in different szies, as some are designed to create only one level, while others are designed to create up to 4 levels within a container.
The system has been tested and certified by the German transport logistics laboratory Fraunhoffer (Dortmund), where all kinds of resistance tests were carried out with the various supports and crossbars, giving results of between 200 kg and 700 kg per crossbar and up to 2.8 tons per linear meter of nominal resistance.
The Corfex system can also be used as a retention and restraint system in the rear part of the cargo. Tests carried out in the Fraunhoffer laboratory show that a standard Corfex system can support up to 5 tons of cargo mass, however, by joining two systems together we can ensure a cargo retention of up to 10 tons.
